What is this connection?

(1990 Bronco II XLT 2.9L Manual Trans) What is this connector? Pic is taken from front of truck on driver's side. Its tucked under the linkage. Its appears a copper colored connector. I do have heat. Its AC equipped car but but not working. There's no vacuum at this connector. Coolant sensor for reference on right bottom corner.

I looked on my 85 2.8 and saw nothing in that area. Both the a/c condenser lines come out the right side of radiator area.

I looks like a heater hose type connection, not an A/C line type tube. Can you see where the other end is connected?

Thanks. A couple things, I have Fuel Injection and the tube nipple seems to come out of the bottom of the plenum intake at the very beginning (underside). Also like I posted I have blasting heat so it's doubtful its heater hose related... And that type of connector isn't used for AC. Thanks for the info though.
