Wiper Delat 87 Bronco II

I have searched through all these threads so IF this has been answered I missed it. Base Model Bronco II I want to add a wiper delay. I have already bought what I thought would be a replacement factory bolt in delay switch {87 Ranger}, but the plug was incompatable. SO how do I add a delay on the wipers??

You should have one already (mine does factory) 87 xlt

ty for the fast response, I have the 'base' model two setting high low. I have bought and tried http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120214530975&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:MOTORS:1123 this delay switch but the plug is way off. Even tried fabricating the plug that I bought got it to plug but nothing. replace the original and worked { I know it was a chance I took not frying the wiper motor}
