i loved my cj.
I have nothing against jeeps. I just prefer to have a frame under me.

I wouldn't think twice about getting a mj, put a small lift on it, run 33's lock it up and wheel the living crap out of it.

They won't, jeeps are everywhere. They are easy to build and everyone and their dad drives one. Not to mention the aftermarket for those is insane.

yep, that's the same reason everyone (just about) use's cheby motors, and "Horsepower TV" builds mostly cheby. the after market is nuts for them, and they are super cheap.

I would love to see a really good BII build on TV with a really high budget.

Yeah no one actually wants to build anything that will take time and planning. If they can't throw a maxed out credit card worth of bolt ons at it they don't want to bother building it. I won't lie and say bolt ons aren't nice and convenient though. But the huge majority of off roaders are jeep owners so naturally people are going to try and make money off the demand. I would like to start an rbv garage someday based on SAS and drivetrain swaps.

Well, it is time to say farewell to everyone on here, it has been a fun road but tonight I sold my bronco. It was sad to see it drive away with someone else, but I feel it was the right time to let her go.

I have been driving her since high school so its a lot like saying goodbye to a part of myself. Now is the time to move on and do something else. Thanks to everyone that has helped me with my build.

Good luck with everyone and their future outdoor adventures.

Not having an rbv any more is not a valid excuse for leaving the site. The accumulated knowledge of the thousands of people who are on here is what makes this site great. What they're driving is irrelevent.

This was more of a farewell to my build not the site.
