Hi I'm new to this forum but I'm a regular on the ranger station.I have a quick question. I'm looking into lowering my bronco ii. I searched the forums on how to do the front.and I see a lot of different opinions. I saw 1 post saying if you change your pivot brackets to a 1st Gen ranger then you could use ranger 3" drop beams. And another post says you need 2wd ranger cross member as well as the brackets to do the ranger drop beams because 2wd bronco ii s use 4wd cross member so just changing brackets won't work. Does anyone have any good insite on this topic? Not sure which way to go on this. I have a set 3" drop ranger springs that I measured to see how close they r to the broncos and there pretty much exact. If ranger pivot brackets could fit the broncos cross member I might be in business.letvlvme know if this is worth trying or not .
