1350 TC question . . .

Does anyone know positively that a 1350 has a 7 tooth speedometer drive gear ???

Well, I just took a drive gear out of an 88MY 1350E about 2 weeks ago and counted 7 teeth on it.

Thanks, I figured it was 7. I may be buying a cable reducer to get my speedo correct. I think that is better money spent that taking the TC apart to get a 6 tooth in there.

Transfer case doesn't have to come part. You only have to remove the rear flange and seal. The speedo drive gear can be accessed through the rear of the case once the seal is out.

I took my spare parts case all apart just to find out that I couldn't get the drive gear off that way.

Hmmm . . OK, then maybe it's worth seeing if I can get an 8 tooth gear that will fit.
