Well it has been about a month now since I trailered home my new to me 1990 B2. So far so good, the new rear end got it rolling, more parts than I would like remember got the engine purring. Now it is my daily driver and just fixing up the little things. Soon I will repaint it and add a fiberglass visor and a roof basket. For now it just gets me to work! Today's adventure was front ball joints and reinstalling the interior after treating the floor for rust.

While working on my International last night, I figured I would see what my B2 would look like on 22.5's.

Cleaned up the engine a bit, ran it again, ready to tear it down for cleaning, paint, and all new gaskets

The 2.9 decided it did not want to run anymore! New gaskets, bearings, cam, lifters, rings and an oil pump seemed to get it going again. Too bad it all this work is only good till the diesel goes in...

I have a 1990bronco II with 209xxx KM, still running strong. gotta swap out all the fluids after hydrolocking it couple weeks ago. the oil was like chocolate milk! What exhaust did you put in? gonna keep it stock or lift it up?

Any specs from this thing? I can find it listed under 60hp in a little trackhoe... I don't know if that is at the flywheel or where they are getting that.

What trans mounts to that?

here:

I looked for specs and came up with 48hp and 103ftlb of torque, naturally aspirated. 400lb dry weight.

It will be interesting to see how much potential is there with tuning and boost.

It wouldn't set the world on fire but my dying 2.8 that was rated 115hp and 150lb-ft still moved my Ranger around decently even though the blowby would push out the dipstick and hose the exhaust manifold with oil.
