I dont have my '91 EVTM here, but both the '01 and '95 Explorer EVTMs I have here say purple/orange and black/pink for the reverse lights.

So if I splice solid pink and the pink/blue together It should bypass the nutral safety switch?

I love this site! First thing in the morning I'll try that! Thanks everyone! Next I got to figure out why its choking out when I give it gas, but I think it might be the O2 sensor,

Just jump 2 the pins in the connector and hit the key. You dont even have to start it, just make sure it cranks.

Now that it start s right up here the next issue , idles fine but when you give it gas it chokes it self out, and coughs back through the throttle body, then when I let off the gas it clears up and idles fine again

pic didn't load for me.

what's your throttle body look like?
vacuum lines? any vacuum leaks?
check your IAC and mass air flow.
check your TPS, there are directions in the tech library i think, to Ohm it out and see if it's good.

I would pull the codes and see what the computer is thinking is wrong. It may save you lots of time.

Doing the engine running codes are going to give you bigest clues on what might be going on.
It will at least give a good stating point
