Oh yes... its time. Look for it within the month. Mild built 5.0 and a built C5 are going into the B2. I'm sick of my raging 140 hamsters and having to 3 pedal it.. rolling backwards down rock faces, and not being able to go faaaaast:thefinger:

I might run out of room for my TRS badges above my avatar lol.

Is this going to be a stand-alone thread?

What are your doners from? Why the C-5? N/A or efi?

Sorry for the questions but I've been kicking around the idea myself.

If you get the rear housing off of a RBV C5 you can use the stock t-case. The C5 originally has a lockup torque converter so it should help with milage, although replacement torque converters are no longer locking. Bellhousing is deeper, which will either push the t-case back closer to where it was originally or push the engine ahead, I haven't discovered that yet.

I am using a V8 C5 with a RBV rear end for my V8 swap. Dunno what the tranny itself out of, the PO had it the whole thing already set up in a BII that was rotting apart so he parted it. I grabbed the tranny and shifter and ran before I thought to grab the bezel.

Going to move this into my build thread once I start it, and can find it.

trans is from an 84 B2. Putting C4 bell on it, C4 reversed full manual valve body with 1st gear engine brake, aftermarket TC.

Engine is a mix of two. Longblock from an explorer, fuel system from a 91 Lincoln Mark (5.0 HO). Yes... EFI
