well I got me a Bronco II yesterday......I paid $350 for it...the only rust spot on it is a hole about the size of a quarter in front of the rear passenger tire.....easy fix.....

Specs:
1986 Bronco II Eddie Bauer

A4LD transmission
BW1350 Electric transfer case
Power Windows
Power Door Locks
Power Lumbar
Tilt wheel
Cruise

What it needs:
- small interior parts/pieces
- transmission
- paint

Plans for it:
- Manual transmission swap
- Manual transfer case swap
- 2"-4" lift
- 32x11.50x15 tires
- 15x8 wheels
- paint (stock colors)

Here are the pictures when I picked it up this afternoon:

i plan on swapping in the manual transmission/t-case VERY soon.....then I have a buddy who hopefully will have his Explorer 8.8 (w/ disc brakes) out of his Ranger soon so I can get it installed in the Bronco II.....

i don't want too much lift, something like 2-4"....i wanna run 31x10.50x15's on it...

it will be used as a fun truck...if I wanna hit a hole, I will....

it needs paint...the top of the cab has surface rust on it and the paint on the hood is fading.....the sides are not bad at all.....i might have to get a close match with rattle cans and then buff/wax the rest when the weather breaks...

That thing is clean! I see that your brake booster is rusted at the bottom too like mine is.

looks like the one i found a couple of months ago. except i think it is a 89
but the guy wants 700 for it but the motor is gone (rear crank bearing), so i offered him 350 and he called me back to go and look at it in more detail. don't know if it is a fair deal....

but anywho, nice find :icon_thumby:, very clean looking
good luck with it :icon_thumby:

I got it cheap cause the transmission is out of it and it needs some wiring work on the rear part if the wiring harness.....I am going to fix that tomorrow after work....

I am going to order the Soft 8's in black as soon as I get the trans swap done and the 4.0 ranger coil springs installed.....then it will be time for the 31's.....
