Hey,
So I got my beautiful rig about 6 months ago knowing it had overheating issues. First thing I did was pressure test it and found out it was just the top radiator hose that was the issue. Only a month later it started overheating again as well as spewing coolant from the panel. Replaced the heater core and it worked great again. About 2 months ago I took it on a little trip and drove probably fast than I should have and it started overheating about every 20 minutes after pulling it over and letting it totally cool down. It wasn't leaking coolant at all so I figured it must be the thermostat. I replaced that and burped the radiator and it was running just fine again until a week later when the fan went out and so I replaced the blower motor. Once more it was running great until today when it started overheating when I drove 12 miles at 55 mph. I can't really think of what it could be now and this is my first Bronco so I was hoping to get some insight.
Some info that may be helpful:
It first started having issues when it was loaded with turf.
During the road trip I was driving faster than I should have been.
I know it has a small crack in the head but the oil is totally clean (just leaks a very small amount of oil on the exterior).
Both hot and cold work on the fan.
I replaced the belts about 3 months ago.
Any info is greatly appreciated!
