Got the 4.0 in the b2 this weekend. Havin trouble stabbin the tranny, it doesn't wanna cooperate. Tookm the wiring harness from the ranger and got it all in. Still trying to figure out what to do w the power windows. The 94 harness did not have a place to plug them in. Its power windows go to the fuse block, the 90 wires into the headlights for some strange reason.:dunno:

Not sure about the tranny, give more info. There is a huge difference between the 90-94 harness. Changed every year and the 92 had 3 versions. to get the windows to work you might have to make a section of harness to work for you. When I did my swap of 93 4.0 into a 89 BII I reused my headlight harness and 93 engine harness. You might have to do that. Not sure because I cant recall what the 94 looks like. Wait a minute, I just bought a 94 ranger. Will look after dinner.

Tranny is an A4LD. Its just being a PITA. The engine is tilting back so much , its hard to align everything.

Just venting, been working on this for 3 weekends.

Thinking bout hardwiring the power windows to the solenoid with a fusible link.

Still worried bout the elec transfer case working because the ranger was 2wd.

I guess I'll find out this weekend
