I'm going to definitely try and keep it wider than it is tall. Right now it's 71" ground to roof and 75 ish wide. I think once the full-width stuff is on it, looking at ~77 wide or so with 8" wide beadlocked steelies... I'd really like to NOT lift anymore other than what the tires give me... we'll see.

Yeah it's do-able, mine is 77" tall and 79" wide and 98" wheel base. I'd actually like to loose some height at some point too. Redisign of the rear suspension and a v8 swap should take care of the height tho, lol. I'm looking to loose an inch or 2 if possible.

I'd like to lose some height now... once 38's go on there, it's going to gain a couple inches of height... I would like to keep it at the 73-74" high mark. The arms I'm getting from Andrew, when mounted in the spot he designed them for, will push the front end forward 3". But the rear end sucks... stupid tub. :annoyed:

You can get a couple inches out of the rear just by re-drilling the leaf perch on the axle, then trim the fender a bit.

I vote you cut the tub out like that one a few pages back then patch it back in. He's on 42s and seems like it's nice and low

Is the plan, but making my own tub, and building what is essentially an engine cage for the front to hang sheetmetal from.

And I'm not going to go through the hassle of Chebby leaves on a BII, simply for the fact that I m going to link it, soooooo...

ive always wanted to steal a few ideas from lowriders to get some huge rubber under my truck without a lift. im thinking tubbing the front and rear. c nothch in the frame. chevy 63's arched 4" shackle reversal but run the springs under the axle that way your still going to have huge amounts of droop and the regular uptravel but it keeps the truck low

Awe bugger. I hate cops. At least I didn't get a VI (thanks to the giant ASF sticker on my rig... and another little sticker that I got perfectly legally. :D) but I was doing 5 over the posted limit apparently (speedo is WAY off) and I got a $196 fine. :annoyed: Seems a little much... oh well.

On the plus side, my axle and stuff is going to be here tomorrow! :yahoo:

I think I found a FW 8.8 as well, so that's sweet. No adapter!

I haven't really done anything to it since I lifted it. Other than wheel it. :dunno:

But, I've got a spool local (a full spool, not a mini spool :D) new in box for a 31 spline 8.8. And I think I've got a line one a FW 8.8 as well, so that's sweet.
