I need a new fuel regulator for my 86 B2. Anyone know if the regulator is the same on a 1985 ranger? Id love not to spend the $100 the parts store wants.

I doubt it, since an 85 would have a carb or a TBI setup (on the 2.3L) but the 86 B2 would be EFI.

I have one that is used but was good when I pulled the engine out. I'll sell it cheap. Make me an offer and then $10 shipped anywhere in the continental US.

83-84-85 came stock with a 2.8 or four cyl. You wont find a regulator for a 85 ranger. Try ebay or amazon shop around.

Yeah thats what i figured I am guessing the original owner blew the engine or something and used a 2.9 to replace it. I saw that the fuel regulator fit the broncos from 86-90 so I will just pop the one off my parts truck.
