On an 89 bronco II with a 2.9,were is the crankshalf position sensor located.

it is in the distributor. i be leave part of it is the modual that plugs in the back and under the dizzy cap acts like the craskshaft position sensor

Strictly speaking, there isn't one.

There is a pickup module inside the distributor. It's a hall effect device that lives under the dis cap. It is more analogous to a cam position sensor, but since the timing can be set manually that signal can function properly for both purposes.
