Spring perches welded. Thanks again Greg. You can see where they used to be.

Picked up new u bolts for the larger axle, axle fluid and a new u-joint for the rear driveshaft.
And just for fun....what my truck would look like with 33s

Greg's (97TrailRigDD) And if you get them brake lines, you have to get a tee for the drivers side. Part number BLF-58C.

8.8 in and almost ready to drive. Ran into some driveshaft problems. I am hoping I don't have to have a new one made.

Both axles together.

Did a google search on the u-joint that I needed to make it work. Found several sites that all said to use 1-0134. Just got back from Autozone and I don't think it is going to work either. Still too big.

Apparently the joints in my shaft are 1210. So now what do I do?

She drives! ......well at least she did.

Got it bolted up. I decided to do what this person did here http://therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46418&highlight=1210

I only got 2 holes drilled and my bit went dull. The bolts I had bought ended up being too short so I found a couple laying around. I know for a fact they weren't grade 8. So, I only had 2 weak bolts in it, but decided to take a drive anyway. Drove great for a little bit, until I snapped the bolts. Had to take the shaft back out and drive home with only fronts wheel drive.

Still don't have shocks mounted in the back. She's pretty bouncy. I can really tell a difference with the 3.73s though. So much easier to drive.

Should have some softer springs for the front coming soon. Will be much better than my F150 springs.

I like that Ex too. Clean. Those the wheels you have on your Ranger?
