Depending if the gun range is open tomorrow afternoon up there I can bring it with me. If not I'll bring it Monday afternoon.

That works. As long as you're going to be up here. Hate for ya to make the trip just for me.

Well I did this at work today.

So after 12 stitches and a tetanus shot, I got to go home for the day. Early start to my weekend.

So with the Explorer driving, the Focus waiting on the correct piston rings (was sent the wrong ones), and my buddy's bike rack finished (see below), I needed a project. So I decided to start working on the 8.8 again. This is where she sits right now.

Plans are to swap it out with the tranny. But priority is the Focus at this point. Here's where is sits right now.

And btw here's the bike rack I built for a buddy.

In temporarily. Moved 3" back. But that caused my pinion angle to shift and looks like I may have gas tank clearance issues.

Looks like some more sheet metal will be missing in the near future.

Not sure yet. I want to keep the stock tail lights. And any way I go, I'm going to have to redo the the wheel wells.

I would just remove the stock lights so you dont have to worry about breaking them. Do a comp cut and make a bracket that some trailer led lights can mount in. IDK just spitballing some ideas your way, good luck!

it'd be a lot of work to move the entire wheel opening back... i've seen it done tho. looks awesome. kinda like the difference in a LJ and a TJ jeep.. extend your body! lol.

i'd say just extend the wheel opening. ideally, i'd like to see the tire as center of the opening tho...
