I work with a guy who has an Explorer. He didn't say what year but I'll ask later. Problem he's having is that his A/C blows cold on the passenger side and hot on the driver's side. My first thought was something vacuum related. Aren't the ducts regulated by vacuum?

Any thoughts?

Knowing the year and if it has the dual zone system is going to be critical on this one.

If it doesn't have dual zone he had a broken door and needs a new air box though.

He said it's a 2006 and it does have the dual zone climate control.

The driver's side blend door motor crapped out. Pretty common issue. Book says to take the dash half way out. I have been able to do them with only removing the radio and spending an hour or two with an 8mm gear wrench.
