First month BII's were made?

Bought an 84 that the vin says was made in Dec 83. I just curious when Ford did start production?

Well the model year generally starts around July or August of the previous calendar year. Not all models start the year at the same time.

We sold a 2012 Focus about 4 months ago. I haven't seen a 2012 truck yet.

Well, yours is earlier than mine. My 84 says January 84 on the door tag.
