I recently replaced the gear box on my 84 Bronco II because the shaft was leaking like crazy. Got everything back in, added fluid but the next day i noticed it still had a small drip. Took a closer look and it looks like the bigger line is leaking. Should there have been a gasket?? I didn't notice any on the new gearbox and didn't think to look on the old one.

I think it has an o ring? if not, try tightening it down. mine had to be tightened twice.

Thanks. I definitely didn't see a gasket of any kind but it could've stayed stuck in the old gear box. It very well could be that I don't have them tight enough. It is in a pretty tight spot for a wrench. Guess I will be getting dirty tonight.
