Hello.....

I found a lift gate with the opening glass option from a 86 B2 the Question are the 87 and 86 lift gates the same.

Mine has the tire carrier on the back the 86 does not, are the latch and hinges located in the same area looks close by eye

Are you asking if you can swap them? If so, that is a yes.

If you are going to keep the tire carrier, your going to need to swap the bracket as well..

All Bronco II rear doors are the same from '84-'90.

I would want a rear wiper over an opening glass.

Me too, you never realize how nice it is until you don't have one, lol...

I bet you could adapt one from a vehicle that has a wiper and an opening rear window (I'm pretty sure newer Blazers and newer Explorers came like that)

With closer inspection setting up the rear wiper would not be a real issue. But since i do not use mine now, i do not think i will bother. Never had much use for the rear wiper setups. i use my side mirrors, and having them heated would be much better. I have been thinking about that alot.

There is more to it than just that.
Well, I'm guessing you either adapted the wiper motor to an opening window, or an opening window to a door with a wiper motor... I totally forgot I have a BII with the wiper motor... I'm gonna put it on my Ex...
