I've been searching for posts on lifts for a long time now, its what I do when im bored at work, I have been wanting to give my b2 some attitude for a while now, I have some explorer leafs, some newer 15x8 wheel, I want to lift my b2 enough for 31's-33's, I was thinking about getting some 132 skyjacker coils or explorer coils for up front and go with a 3" body lift, has anyone done this and had any troubles with alignment? :icon_confused:

you MIGHT have to have different alignment bushings but you should be okay with either coils

i have heard from a few people that i know if you put the older explorer springs shocks in the front and leaf springs in the rear that you can easially fit 31s without any real trouble of rubbing and if you are willing to trim the fenders a little bit then you could fit 32s or 33s

I really don't want to cut fenders, I'm thinking with the body lift and 2" of suspension lift I'll be ok

I was in the same boat. When I got my Bronco it had a 4" already on 33x12.5. No rub. Swapped over to my Welds and had rub at full turn. Got new tires, 33x13.5x15 Nitto mud grapplers, Rubbed at slight turn. I had to do slight trimmed to the corners of my fenders, thats it. 2-3" trim with a grinder. Still only has 4" lift and thats it. First is with the old tires, 2nds now

I just found a 4" rancho lift of Craig's list for $600, with everything including shocks and rear leafs, he says it's never been installed, and it's for a early 90's ranger, so now I might go a whole different route???!

Well went and looked at the lift I found on Craig's list....it was a rough country 4", still in the box, along with new leafs, shackles. Shocks, receiver hitch, shackle mounts, all the bolts, he also had a 86 b2 sitting in the yard, some min nest rust on it, but not bad, he said $800 and I could have it all!! Bronco has 140k his dad was original owner, so I went to look at a lift and I'm going home with a lift and an other b2!! I'm stoked!!!!
