my BII had some options that are by no means rare, but odd in their configuration

84 Eddie Bauer
power lumbar
zipper "map pockets"
external tire carrier
tinted rear windows
eddie colors and badges
info center

but,
manual windows, locks, hubs, transfer case, transmission (4-speed)
no a/c, no cruise.
3.45 open gears

and the entire frame and underside of the body was undercoated from the factory.

basically the eddie bauer interior shoved into a base model.

My very first truck a '90 Ranger had manual everything, no power steering, 4-cylinder... A/C and cruise... I always thought that was weird... A truck with absolutely no options except A/C and cruise... it even had an AM radio... yeah no FM at all...

i know my uncles old 84/85? b2 came with the inside tire carrier, the panel was curved around the tire and there was a full size spare inside. As for taking pics ha i would never have thought about that 14 years ago, but i can say this though i knew it was odd and different and after all these years to never forget it:icon_rofl:

if the interior colour options make the difference as well, well the interior was beige

I guess the removable mirrors were still a rare option in '86. I just picked up this owners manual for my '86 today and it had these pages in them.

And you should have gotten your ass kicked for taking on a large project with it. Should have left it the way it was.:annoyed::thefinger:
I agree.

rear bucket seats

I did see rear buckets in a B2 in a junkyard a few years ago, I remember thinking they were cool. From what I remember they were black seats with orange stripes and had zip up pouches on the back of the seats definitely were not aftermarket, there may have even been some type of rear console from what i remember.

I had an 84 BII that had a donut spare inside and also a spare tire rack on the back. Oh, and no roof rack and the hatch and openable back window didn't have a lock, which I found weird.

My 84 BII has tinted side glass, two-tone doorskins and dash, 5-speed, manual 'case and hubs, "capped" bumpers and a 7/07/83 build date, but the side galss is fixed. :( Oh, and A/C, no tilt, no cruise, no power doors, but opening wing windows, with a "Buckskin" interior. Side "pockets" or "cubbies" on the side trim pieces in the back, too.

My B2 that I just picked up has a cargo cover for the rear. My fullsize came with one too, and they are somewhat rare in the FS.

Most likely, he means the 'smoker' window. (A triangular window that 'wings' open on both front doors.)

Yeah, sometimes they are referred to as "smokers' windows". Not all of the BIIs' had opening wings. Mine also still has the original floor mats that say Bronco II on the front mats, and Ford on the rear ones. I even have the original spare tire cover, but it is in sad condition.
