Lost 3rd and 4th gear

Hi have i have an 88 Ford bronco II with a 5 speed manual. I think it's the M5OD. I lost both 3rd and 4th on the way home. Would this be shifter forks? i need to know, thanks.

Should be an FM146..

Yes, probably something shift rail/shift fork related.

yea ur right it's the FM146. I'll see what i can figure out what's wrong this weekend. Maybe the roll pin came out?

Im thinkin synchros for those gears, but shift forks is possible.

wouldn't that make it grind when going in gear? It's probably something to do with forks or something with the shift rail or whatever. Because it doesnt make any sound going in gear.

If you lost them both at the same time its most likely in the shift linkage.

Yeah im guessing too. I hope it isn't anything too bad... The car sat like 3+ years before i picked it up.

Lost the roll pin twice. I had to grind a taper and beat it in there with a hammer, now i got all gears again. Thanks.
