It's getting blacked.. Easy touch up, cheap, what an offroad bumper should be! That'd be way to much chrome and if I paid that to have it chromes id be scared to use it lol. Started the prep work today

Metal glaze, the good stuff.. Smoothing up some edges inside and filling some pits in the steel. You know how steel is surfaced when raw. It's not great.

well the time aint that bad.. and the supplies are FREE, i love the fact that my dad works at a body shop lol. Dick spent so much time making it, i figured why not take an extra day to smooth it out. plan is after i sand the glaze down, spray it with a 2 porta epoxy type primer, sand that smooth, then spray the black. SEM trim paint works best for this kind of thing to!

okay guys... i'm still on edge about the roof rack. so many people have told me that they have regretted it later on. and now i'm going back to the trailer idea in the future. but for now i plan on getting a basket rack for the receiver hitch

With the way the bumper comes up on the ends, you might look at trimming your fenders to match.

Already considered. It's gonna happen. I'm just focused on getting the bumper on right now.

Will get better pics out in the light. The lights will be moved once I figure out what I'm gonna do exactly. And fenders will be trimmed. Work in progress. But it awesome and I love it!

If it where me, I would place them on the big flat spot on the top of the bumper, but out just a bit so it doesn't mess with the winch.

Can you drill the hole about one inch away from the rail , but not far enough to where they block the turn signals???

if all else fails, weld your light bar on to it that you had, I'm sure you can make it look good on there, and the lights will be up out of the way of the winch.

I see a sweet bull bar set up built with the same style as the bumper that crosses over the top of where the winch will be settin. but that would be more work and the bumper would have to be off for a lil while. not to mention repaint

I like it. Looks really nice. How about weld a stinger or something of the sort on top and put the lights on it?
