i'm not worried about that..ive drove a few rigs w/ front lockers. some of them jeeps with live axles.

and i'll never let a shop do something like ball joints for me. if my oldest bro still worked at Meineke, i'd do my own alignment again... i just don't have access to a machine anymore. and the boss at the semi shop won't buy one! lol

8n tractor, 2 4 wheelers, 4 wheeler trailer, camper, bush hog, and finishing mower...
I'M SO GETTING KICKED OUT OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD BEFORE TO MUCH LONGER!!!!! HAHAHAHA

anyways, back to my b2's world. i took the trans pan and valve body back off today, going back to the stock valve body setup instead of that "corrective shift" crap... will have it back together in the morning. gotta do some homework now and class tonight.

drove around in a locked explorer today for a little bit.. one of my buddies has aussie front and rear on a 2 door explorer.... decided the locker didn't bother me, even in 4wd..

shane at spyder offroad made me a deal on the aussie, should be in by this weekend.
lol... yeah. will be aussied front and rear.

providing i'm happy w/ the shifting and all after tomorrow, the focus will turn to the d35, I HAVE TO GET THIS DONE BY APRIL 20TH. lol

Simplest thing to do is go manual...I know you dont want to do that but I wanna say there are less things that could go wrong with one. If I gambled on JY one, it would be a manual.

i came very close one time to do the md05 swap...


its gonna be something stupid simple that i missed or messed up. i'll find it.

trans came out... got went thru again... put back together... and back in.
now to put the pan gasket and pan on, transmission lines, tighten the t/case bolts, fill w/ fluid, and rehook battery cables (think that's everything)... and test drive it.

if its fixed, its getting pulled back in the yard and the front axle is gonna be yanked out for the d35 swap.

sad to say, but i highly doubt that its gonna get to go to Spring Run at Superlift... i just don't see me getting the d35 done in 5 days w/ the 2 projects and 1 test I have this week for college (and as much as i hate it, college comes first)... I'm still going to SL, will just be riding w/ fellow MSJ members instead of having my b2 there.

planning a trip towards the end of May to SL, got some MSJ'ers that wanna go... gotta get the b2 out to SL soon!

alright.

found out my detent cable won't stay in my firewall... idk if this has anything to do w/ my issues or not..but i can't adjust the cable since the clips are broke and it just moves around where it wants to...

small hose clips on both side of the firewall will fix that, won't look pretty, but should work.

Got a PM about my speaker box... wanted more pics, so since I took them.. here they are for everyone to suffer thru! lol





notice the weight it carrys everyday. full tool box and full tote (the gray tote has other tools in it that are more semi specific.. that way i can leave those at home when i'm not working for the semi shop).

the mesh wire was to kinda hide the amps from a distance without blocking air, its not finished yet... the plan is to put some thin angle over the top corner of the box to keep from breaking the MDF when putting my tool box in and out...

i'm still alive guys... the b2 is still getting loved on.

now i'm back to getting ready for my D35 stuff. got my Aussie in (still in box).. I should have everything minus the spring for the c-clip elim and shocks. gonna run Bilsteins up front and eventually get some for the rear to.

right now the d35 is tore into every piece it can be.. gonna go by TSC to see if they have the spring I need for the c-clip elim. get that done.. get the d35 together and go from there.

Side note: finished this school semester w/ all A's. only 4 more classes till i get that Bacholer's Degree. Start back to school Monday for 2 weeks...ugh lol

took the B2 down to Showfest in Tunica, MS today.

Midsouth Jeeps, for Go Topless Day, decided to raid Showfest, which is mostly for mini trucks.... so yeah rolling in with 51 off road rigs made a scene!!!! i think they were a little scared really.... we thought about parking on the mini trucks but decided that might make the club look bad lol



our custom RTI ramp on airshocks...
