I've always been fascinated by the interesting paint schemes BII's came with from the factory. Anyone have any pics of Sports, XLS's, E.B.'s etc?

Here are a few I found. I like the BII hood decal, never seen a BII with one, anybody seen one before?

The paint is normal on this one, but it has a push bar and 'ground effects' of some sort. My 90 BII has the same ground effects

Here is mine with stripes and ground effects

Post em up if ya got em.

Here's an 85 Eddie Bauer... but I've seen a lot like it and don't really think it's anything special.

My 90 XLT I think its kind of an odd two-tone pinstripe combo, but I like it.

Here's mine. Nothing special about it. There's another one around town that has the same paint scheme, first time I saw it, I thought someone had taken my truck.

Here's one that I hadn't seen until I found my '84. Love the color combo too.

'85-'88 used the same color scheme on their Eddie Bauers. My '86 is identical to that 85's paint scheme.

Lotta nice looking B2s; cool thread.

Here's the available factory striping options for all year Bronco II's, from an aftermarket collision estimating guide (but note that the Ford part numbers are listed).

Notice that option #5, is the XLS striping that's often seen with ground effect pieces on the rocker panels and behind the wheelwells (i.e.- the XLS package).

The "horse on the hood" decal appears to have been a dealer accessory option; it's not in the collision guide, nor is it in any of the B2 sales brochures. But I did find a picture of it in a 1984 Ford accessories catalog:

The body stripe kit and hood decal cost a whopping $26.25 back then!

Another interesting thing- a few of the old accessory catalogs show the removeable rear windows for the Bronco II (that never made it to market), as a kit that could be purchased from a dealership.

Dreaming here...but I will get mine painted eventually. Can't decide if I want to go back original (desert tan with walnut brown middle) or scrap that and go with an all gold vehicle (saw one that looked really nice on), a dark blue (guy up the road has one - Chrysler Blue and it's really a nice dark blue), a silver (silver is usually my favorite but I'm not so sure the BIIs look so good in silver), a blue with silver or tan bottom like an Eddie Bauer since my interior is tan, a gold top with walnut brown bottom - my bro sent me a pic of one he saw driving down the street like that, or a charcoal gray (I like charcoal grey but it's hot here in SC), maybe a desert tan with blue in the middle where my walnut is...I think I'll probably go with a khaki tan (the tan on mine looks a little off to me - almost a hint of brown in it)...then I could definitely do a blue in the middle or bottom...geeze, I don't know...which there were more pics in the gallery on here!

No fancy decals like you are looking for . . . but here is another take. My BII was solid black. I always go for the "old school" look ( see my Ranger ) , so I added Ford letters to the rear like the EB.I added an EB grille and white bumpers and wheels. Everything to make it look more vintage. I will also paint the roof white, just haven't gotten to it.

No they won't. It's a thing with photobucket, if you move or delete a pic it won't show up anymore. It's a pain in the ass if you want to organize pics after getting a bunch over time.

So far this is the only one I've seen with this paint color combination.

Seems to be factory from what the paint code says on the door.

The "banana cream" package? :D

I have seen the 73-87 Chevy trucks with a similar scheme and I have seen RBV's all one of those colors but I don't think I have seen one that is both either.
