Damn! I would like to have seen what the top looked like too.

Cool find, a close-up of the rear cab and bed sides would have been cool too, be nice to see what they did so I can reproduce it when I finally chop mine and use the stock roof as a removable top.

By the looks of the pics it had a soft top on there too, wonder if it ever had a hard top to go with it?

Looks to be a Sherrod conversion. Did it have a sunroof cut out also?

It most definitely is not a custom one off job. The pieces are formed to fit the BII.

I went today, back to the junk yard. I almost expected the BII to be gone, but low and behold, it was still there. However, the pickers had gotten to it more. It really isn't a vehicle in my eyes, to restore. It has some bad rust areas. And this info is coming from a man who does rust repair on vintage Mustangs. Sure I have repaired much worse on a Mustang . . but I don't believe this vehicle is worth it. And the shocking part was that someone had gotten to the fiberglass pieces already. They were all drilled out, each and every hole. I didn't count but there is a lot. Someone took the time to do all that . . . . . My jaw dropped when I saw that . . . more to come . . .

Thats very sad news. I don't know if anyone actually has a value on one of these trucks. Being that it is such a obscure custom. It would have been sweet to save what you could and adapt it to another BII perhaps with a better body but none the less its a sad day:sad:

true story . . but my jaw dropped again when I found the fiberglass pieces laying on the ground behind the vehicle. Someone removed the pieces . and then left them laying on the ground???? huh ??? Good for me. I picked them up and walked to the front and paid for them. I left the tailgate because it was just too damaged, but I know exactly how it was made and how it hinged; easy to do. Here it is . . . .

Now what am I going to do with it?????????????????????????????????? But at least I got it :)
