Oh man you saved the good parts at least, Those are the parts that can't be found. You should take some detailed pics of fiberglass parts and maybe someone on here thats good with glass could re-make it for there chop top! Thanks for saving pieces of history

How the rear hatch was done is very simple. They cut the fiberglass rear hatch right at the lower level of the side windows. Then there is a fiberglass piece that covers the top of what is left of the hatch . . which now becomes a tailgate. Then at the bottom there is a steel square tube about 1"ID that is bolted on to the lower edge, all the way across. Then in the quarter panels . . . a 4" rod is attached, seems to be bolted in. It had a nylon covering that then is inserted into the square tubing and it pivots on that. Very simple, the same latch on both sides is used. I'll take more pics of the fiberglass pieces . . couple small cracks in the fiberglass, but very, very useable as is.

Good deal on recovering those pieces. You're sitting on some very desireable parts.

Really wonder how hard it would be to create some molds off those?

where do you live? Have you try to find someone who works with fiberglass and see if he could make a mold?

Bottom line is I'm not sure what I want to do with it. I'll listen to any offers, but understand I'm not looking to sell. I may put it on my BII, maybe make a mold or maybe sell it for the right price. ?????????????????????
