Ok, so I just got my lift on and it's all good to go, one problem tho, 4" lift blocks...

I'd like to elimnate them, I've been exploring some options..

Recurve of my springs?
63" chevy springs with 6400 shackles?
Buy a set of lift springs? Skyjacker, Superlift...
Or maybe some Durango leaves like CopyKat..

What do you guys suggest? Need about 4-5in of lift.

I really like how mine rides with the Explorer springs (1"), add-a-leaf (1"), 2" block (2" duh), and BellTech 6400 shackle (2"). I got about 6"" of lift out of the rear of mine. It rides great and flexes like crazy.

Here is a couple rear flex pictures for example.

Not sure how much lift you would get from the Durango springs. I would think you could get close to the 5" with an extended shackle. The Durango main is about 2" shorter than the explorer main. So an extended shackle would be a must or if you could move the front hanger back 2" or so to compensate.

Another option would be F150 2wd leaf springs. Same dimensions as the explorer/b2/ranger springs but should give more lift than am Explorer pack.

I've yet to see how the durango springs ride.

Hmm, I like both options..

It's just a DD as of right now, no wheeling, so the blocks aren't an issue, I'd like to get the rear springs, winch, bumpers, and a few other things done by May, for the Moab Bronco Safari. Anyone is welcome to come.....

I'll have to make a trip to the wrecking yard, see what I can find.

Thanks guys!

I'm about to go through the same thing, should I go with the 63" chevy's or work with the explorer's? I need to fit 32" tires under the rear and I don't want to have to use the blocks. Thanks
