Roof rack and basket

I used four conduit straps on mine. I guess they are pretty much the same as u bolts. Drilled holes through the stock rack bars and bolted the rack to those.

I went and the racks from harbor freight. i put it all together without the 3 inch reciever in the middle and the deminsions fit the b2 rails perfectly so i bolted the rack right to the slider tabs in the rails
Thats cool, got any pictures? That is the one thing I like about Jeeps, they are roughly the same size as the BII so if it will fit a Jeep chances are that it will fit a BII.

yea it worked out perfect. i still need to weld in some more support but ill take some shots maybe today an put some up.

still need to add some bracing but i just climb onto it to tighten the center bolts and it held up fine. not bad for 65 bucks

Dj if you would could you get a pic of the mounting surface (on the rails). I'm going to harbor freight this weekend to pick up a couple of these racks for my BII. I'll be adding a brace along the top and bottom where the gap is for more support and lights.
