hah. I was out wrenching all day.. I have pictures just didnt have time to put them up as it was really nice out today, so I went out and got alot done.....

Anyways here we go.... As i said before i started with a stock 87 bronco II 4x4.. this is pretty much what it looked like except the paint was bad...

first thing i did was remove the spare tire carrier and rattle canned the truck with primer..

then i found a 4" lift and some 33"s..

I had to trim the front fenders.. I drove it like that for awhile. then i swapped out the electric t-case for a manual one.. and that was my DD for along time untill the trans started to act up..

oh and i swapped in explorer leafs when i snapped one of the stock ones :p

since then i have moved to a new house and have a nice place to work on it ...

now its just my project truck and i have really started to tear it apart..

well last week i picked up a 94 explorer with a good motor and trans body is shot and it wouldnt pass inspection... so im strippin it down and swaping them motor, trans, dash, diffs... the whole works... so here we go..

this is the work place on the side of my house..

the exploder...

gutted inside...

window gone.. they were in there good..

pile of stuff..

the old 2.9L

cuttin away..

now the sides..

off came the top..

thats where it's at as of last night..

stacked blocks = sketchy

get some belltech 6400 shackles and take out the smaller block you have in there.

Very nice work so far - you leaving the BII open backed or grafting the exploder rear half on - just kidding.
Keep up the good work . . .

Depends if you want to set up your gears or not...if you don't mind that, get a Detroit.
