trying to figure out a fuel problem. really need help.

the starter engaged because you could feel it sort of torque the motor, but it wouldn't turn over.

Bad starter or
bad cable to starter or
bad battery cable.

AP stores will test the starter for free.

if the connection is good, i'll test the starter tomorrow. but it seems strange that that happened right after i messed with the fuel pump. and can anybody explain why the pump wouldn't turn off after i unplugged it and plugged it back up?

whenn u turn the key on the pump energizes or builds up pressure in the fuel line
once the pump hits the right pressusre it stops buzzing also underneath the carpet passenger side tranny area is the inertia switch unplug it and put a jumper to connect the two wires bypassing the inertia switch taht switch can cause alot of problems
but dont leave it that way it is dangerous cause if u get hit that shuts off the pumps
and check ur o2 good luck
