Try beating an allen head socket in the bolt head. It's a long shot but I've gotten it to work before.

Try beating an allen head socket in the bolt head. It's a long shot but I've gotten it to work before.
Well that has been tried but a no go. Imma weld a bolt head to it and get it out that way.

Welded a bolt to the top to the bolt and pulled that sombitch out!

The project has slowed Alot more than I wished. This week I have to work a children's camp and next it's off to Kansas city for skillsUSA nationals. So bear with me.

Started on the Body painting. just sprayed a light first coat over a few parts excluding the doors since I'm using different doors.

i dig it man keep it up! what all did you do to refurbish the motor? just gaskets?
I cleaned it and replaced the gaskets and plugs only since the pistons, rings, and cam is in working order. All followed up with a paint job.

cool thanks man, my 2.9 runs amazing but its got a few leaks. i was going to swap in a 302 but i may just pull it and regasket. only time will tell. also started gutting my interior to do a chop next month. ill have pics up in my thread.

Please document the entire chop top I'd love to see how you did it. But question, how you going to combat the rain?
