I've got my M5od swap almost ready to button up, I have my pedals in, my wiring ran, and my clutch/flywheel installed. Just waiting on the hydraulic pieces and I'll be bolting it in.

A couple questions:

I keep reading that the auto flexplate mounting bolts are different than the manual flywheel mounted bolts. Mine bolted right up with the auto bolts, perfect length, no rubbing or interference anywhere. Whats the deal? What exactly is different about the manual trans bolts?

I pulled the trans wiring harness from a manual donor, everything plugged in fine. My trans is a 95 with NO NSS switch. Can I leave the NSS plug dangling or do I need to cross-wire it to eliminate it from the circuit?

Any help will be appreciated. Oh I forgot to mention, its an 89 BII, 95 M5od, with new 4.0L clutch and flywheel. This is my first 5 speed swap ever.

Sounds like you've done a good job! I've never heard of those bolts being different. Maybe you should replace them if you can but I dont think it's nessisary, honestly.

To jog my memory, I took a look at rock auto and both manual / auto transmissions list the same bolt. Sounds like you're good to go (unless you forgot locktite)
