1985 Bronze Bronco II

I recently found this Bronco II for sale while browsing the Internet. While it may not be styled to my personal liking, I am glad to see that there are still some solid Bronco II’s out there.

The stock tan interior is actually in really good shape and is free of rips or cracks.

The stock 2.8L V6 has been replaced with a larger 4.0L V6, and is mated to a 4-Speed Automatic w/OD transmission.

The most obviously feature is the Bronze Pearl metallic paint and graphics with 17-inch chrome 5-star wheels. The seller claims to have $8,000 invested in the paint job.

The Bronco II is listed as a 1985 4×4 model, but it’s clearly not equipped with any front locking hubs, and I don’t see a transfer case lever. The electronic shift on the fly push button case didn’t become available until late 1986. Because of this, I listed under the 2WD Bronco II section.

Welcome to the Bronco Corral. As a long time Ford Truck enthusiast, I've been a fan of the Ford Bronco and Bronco II. In fact, I've completely rebuilt a Bronco II of my own. The Bronco Corral originally started as the Bronco II Corral, but in 2020 I decided to expand it to include all Ford Bronco's, and welcome the upcoming 2021 Ford Bronco. Thanks for stopping.
