I get my BII back today from the reman engine install.....I'm anxious to see how it'll run! I'll let you guys know!

My engine is toast....so should I have it rebuilt or buy a remanufactured engine to replace it with? It would cost around the same....I found a reman engine with 3 yr unlimited mileage engine for $1300....what to do?

I removed the nasty carpet from my BII this weekend and herculined the floor. I think it looks good for a amateur job. I like the look of it also and its a bonus with the easy cleanup it should provide. I would post a picture but the file is too large.

I just purchased an in-dash DVD player with a 3.6" wide screen....can anyone tell me the wire colors on the factory harness (i.e. left front speaker is which color, rt front speaker is which color, etc.)?

I took the ignition module off today and took it to the local parts store to have it tested...the test showed it was bad....I put the new one on and went on about an hour test drive....It drove great, no loud ticking noises, no loss of power! hopefully my problem is finally resolved!

Ok it isn't fixed after all...still ticking, still bogging down, still no power.....My dad seems to think that the catalytic converter is stopped up....I'm going to try that next.

Hey guys....The problem I've been having with my BII has been resolved I hope...I went to change the spark plug wires, and when I pulled one off the distributor cap, the silver connector came off with it....I installed a new distributor cap and rotor button along with the wires....It is running...

I picked my BII up from the mechanic today...he fixed the leaky rear end (front seal had gone bad)...he confirmed that the loud ticking noise and poor performance was caused by a faulty ground wire on the back of the engine near the distributor.....so far so good....but I haven't gotten back on...
