thanks man. i think i am going to get some acrylic and spray it without any clear coat or anything, the paint will be full of scratches and scrapes so i am not going to be too particular about it
Okay so the stuff i am thinking of is still a 2 part mix, its still rather involved. If 383 doesnt get you anywhere try ppg code N1433A, thats an actual paint, its used touch up damaged carc. Its about as flat as flat can get
sweet, flat is good lol. thanks man i gotta check with one of my buddys tomorrow at the paint shop he works at so ill give him these numbers then. thanks again bud
Nope, they're still in pieces. Gotta get new skids on them, then drop about $1500+ into bearings, seals, shims, etc... Then i gotta sort out brakes. My list is about 4 miles long right now
got alot done tonight, removed the rear bumper, put on a throttle body from an 86 2.9 which is about .5" bigger than the 89 one. (horse powa) and put on the body lift
watched the ranger drive away tonight and added $200 in my bank account. sold her with no body lift, no body mounts, shitty 215/75s, no lights, no bumpers, no tail lights, so basicly just a running 4wd pos.
200 buck's!!! i paid that for a ranger that was sittin down in the dirt with no rear axle and missing most of the front axle as well. but it did have alot of desirable item's like a 6'' lift,4.0 m5od 1354m and all the spare body panel's for my truck most had dent's scratche's or rust but will be good for when i cave one in. however it only had one mirror (missing the one I broke on my truck) all the drive train went into the dirty white boy B2. and all the panel's are sittin in the upstair's of my brother's garage. not a whole lot has been useful to me.
well after all the months she been listed online, it was either $200 (which i dont think shes worth anyways) or trading it for an old school chainsaw.
heres a pic the guy jus sent me, yes the bed is tied on and the cab is only lodged on the frame with 2 little bolts holding it on. hope they dont die in it on there 1 hour drive on the freeway home
