Are the spring perches in the right spot if I use the explorer axle with explorer springs to bolt to the b2?
(width wide, I know I should drop a bit going axle over spring, but I can live with that temporally)
Just looking for a quick way to get my b2 on the road for winter (really hate snow in a car) and the wrecker is 40 miles away to check with a tape.)
Thanks for any info.

Using explorer springs, you'll lose about 2.5" of your ride height.

pretty sure the perch width numbers are in the tech library? they are somewhere on here for sure. search around and you might find them.
off the top of my head, I think it's close but not exactly right.

it will cause the springs to bolt up like this \ /

the ranger and explorers widths are the same, but the bronco II is like 1" or 2" off,

search for installing a ranger axle in a Bii

the explorer springs will also lift a bronco ii, but the flip will drop it a little more

Thanks I found two other web sites that said that it should bolt right up and one that said the the info here.
I may as well move the perches to the right spot before installing it.
I'll get the explorer springs and coils and do it all at the same time.

I can tell you without a doubt the BII spring perch spacing is 2" wider than Explorers or Rangers. I have a '99 Explorer 8.8" under my BII. My relocated perches are exactly 1" outboard of the old perch location on each side.
