Don't comp cut it unless you are going to push the wheel base and go to way bigger tires. It looks good like it is

my only suggestion would be to use some pliers to "roll" a lip back into the fender....

Picked this up today. Its some kind of helical l/s out of a Dana 44 Jeep rear with 4.55 gears. It does not look like a stock Jeep unit. It looks like a Detroit, but not exactly.

See if the bearings have part numbers on them and if they are after market bearings. They may be specific to what they go on.

I would assume the bearings are the same as any 44 carrier. There are 2 casting numbers on each end. 40186 and 40187. But I still have yet to find any info on it.

My 44 already had a trac-lok in it. I didn't even know.
