What I did today. Had a couple oops moments. I ripped the winch guide off the B2, my hoist tipped with the motor in the air and busted the oil pan open, and I blew a power steering line on the F150. But I got what I wanted to accomplish done.

This is my plan for the CAD front axle. I have seen write ups on how to make your own kit with a throttle choke cable. This way I can weld the front, save some $$, and still be able to disconnect the passenger side to help turn. And I will be able to do it from inside the cab.

Picked up a Sterling. 4.10 L/S. I would have gotten 2 more wheels for a set of 4, but they wanted $15 a piece for 8 lug steel wheels. I talked them down to $10 a piece for the 2 on the axle.

If it wasn't for the doubler, I'd consider it.

Fixed a couple things and freshened her up. Ready for the Toys for Tots ride next weekend.

Are you or anyone you run with going to post more pictures of your rigs this year when the show comes down????

For some reason I always liked looking at y'all rigs when there is snow all over the place, and snow rammed in to the rims and front axle.

If we get snow. We got one good one last year, and nothing the year before.

Swapping to Ford outers. No more unit bearings, and now I will have lockouts.

Wish I had this kind of time, money and a place to do all of these kinds of things.

Money? This axle cost me $50.

Time? I have 2 vehicles that are not running. Getting the Focus running is priority.

But you have a place to do it all and that's the most important thing.

I live in an apartment and I'm waiting for them to say something to me about working on my vehicles.

True. That would suck for project vehicles.

Nothing like getting a picture of your rig in a magazine...

And it's on its side.
