I think I asked this once before, BUT can a double be made backwards to act as a over drive ?!?!?!

They are 6.5" Rough Country XJ coils. I ran them uncut on my D35, but now running cut ones with the 44 because of the lift ratio of the solid axle.

Seen this at the junkyard yesterday. Long arms for a 44 TTB.

Sigh, here in Austin, TX I don't ever seem to find cool stuff like that at the yards.

Well the doubler is back together and installed and I filled the tranny up, but she's not doing anything when I put it in gear. Think its quitting time today.

How much fluid did you put in?

How high is it on the stick?

If you don't have at least 7 qts in there, I am not surprised it doesn't move. If the level doesn't drop when you start the engine the pump is shot.

Its full in the dipstick while running. I doubt the pump is bad. I know it was good before I got it.

Well I dropped it to make sure the TC was lined up correctly, reinstalled, and still nothing. So I decided to remove the fluid lines. Yup the pump is bad. Get to drop it yet again.

Bummer, Find you another trans and swap out the pumps, if there was nothing else wrong with your trans to start with, and be sure that the TC is fully in this time.

Whattt? It ran and drove like new, he'll drove it 18 hours home 3 months before it got parked.

Sorry man, get ahold of me sometime and we'll work something out on it.

Hey its cool. I know it worked. It could have been me that damaged it.

I have a 5R bellhousing and pump sitting on the 4R that came out of the Ex. I swapped it because the starter pocket is different. I wonder if I can get the pump to work on the A4LD bell?
