I have an 89 bronco II that I am currently doing axle swaps on. I am going to have to have driveshafts made.
My future plans are for a 302 swap and I was wondering if the stock t-case is built well enough to rely on it or should I make plans to swap?
Also, Will I have to make new driveshafts after the 302 swap or can the engine be place where I wont have to?

A 13-54 can hold up to a 302.

You will need to get an adapter to use it though, considering you'd be using a different tranny.

His B2 should have a 1350... Most people don't have problems with 1350s or 1354s behind V8s.

So the easiest thing to do would be to swap the T-Case also? Will I have to make new driveshafts after swapping engine, trans, and t-case?

The BW1350 and BW1354 are so similar in design that it isn't funny.

The easiest thing to do would be use your stock transfer case.

That's right....

Actually the adapter should allow the Tcase to stay in the same spot, and allow you to keep the driveshafts the same length....

After you spend the $$ to track down an adapter (no longer in production), you might as well get a different transmission/transfer case and get your driveshafts adapted to fit (since you will probably have to get new ones for your new axles)
