Here is a few pictures. I don't have any of during the install because I forgot my camera at home.

Here is the new parts going in.

- 4.0 Starter

- 4.0 Slave Cylinder

- 4.0 Clutch & pressure plate

- Misc. Items needed

- M50D-R1 Transmission

- New starter power and trigger wires. Since the 4.0 Starter has a constant hot to it and a trigger wire and my BII has a switched hot to the starter, I had to created this contraption and route it down to the starter.

My twin sticks:006:

Yea it was pretty easy with Junkie's diagram. I ran the new wire across the bottom of the core support and then down the driver side frame rail.

I got a new radiator installed in the BII. This is a '94 4.0 manual transmission radiator.

Out with the old...

Side by side comparison.....

Got my "new" Explorer 8.8 (already setup for a spring over) last weekend. I would say it is a safe bet you can guess what truck this came out of...

Look at those prutty 4.56 gears:006:

I am getting the parts to convert this axle to disc brakes this weekend:006: Bye bye drums!
