Let's try this again. Scrapped/parted off my other b2. Got this one know.

Found this for sale locally on craigslist. 84 Bronco II, FI 302 from 94 mustang, C4 trans, supposedly 4.11 gears. Recently tuned up, new brakes, and fluids.

Needs some shocks and brake work. I will also be adding an exhaust. It is currently straight piped. This thing is fun! Now I will swap parts off my other 84 b2 and sell whats left.

I don't plan on getting rid of this one. Haha

Joe

Explorer leaves installed with 1" block.

With explorer coils and f150 spacer. Needs some drop brackets. Weight of the v8 really brings it down.

Did some light wheeling in the woods. Could really tell the front is at its max. Had no flex and a rough ride. But still had fun.

Have to excuse the finger...guess they thought that was still cool to do. :icon_thumby:

I maybe picking up an eb d44 today. Supposedly comes with the steering linkage and radius arms too. Found it locally and got him down some on the price. Just wondering if it is worth it. I know I will upgrade the axle shafts and ujoints. But don't know what else to do. Been doing a lot of searching on how to put one in a b2.

Ttb coils are stiff and don't flex try eb coils James duff wild horses etc not that much and sell your ttb coils to offset the cost. By the way nice score this thing will be sweet straight axled.

So something like these from duff?

3.5" Early Bronco Coil Spring, pair

I'm only planning on running 35s. Don't think I will need bigger. I already have a 3"bodylift bodylift.

That's them I've got eb 5.5 springs no body lift lots of trimming and 40s should have no problem 35s and a body lift. I've got cage coils essentially the same coils they flex nice in the driveway.

Very nice! I always like to see someone taking the time of installing a FI engine. Especially as clean as that.

Thanks, but I can't take credit for the install. I bought it that way. Also not as clean as it looks. I have done some cleaning up with the wiring, but still have a bit to go.

Got em! :icon_hornsup:

Also got the matching 9" for $15. It is missing the 3rd member, but no biggie.

Now just to start cleaning them up and doing some more research. And to start buying parts.

What kind of paint do people use to paint axles?

Sweet Truck should be sick with the 44/9
are those full width or narrow?

as for paint i just use cheap black spray paint.
its gonna get mucked up anyhow. typically reapply cheap paint each time the truck gets a good cleaning. keeps them lookin good.

there is alot of info on the sas stuff on here
the two threads listid in my sig are both solid.
but it looks like you plan on using the ford factroy radius arms so there are definately better threads to check out!

Narrow. Early Bronco axles. I'm not planning on running the stock radius arms. That's just the way it came, with the arms and steering.
