I've joined the ranks of the Bronco II owners:

I bought it for $350.00 from a member in Virginia.

It's a 1984 Bronco II XLT. It has a rear opening window in the rear hatch, bucket seats from a newer B2, a freshly rebuilt C5 transmission, a 302 V8, and a 3-inch body lift.

The motor knocks and needs rebuilt.

I was going to rebuild the 302 in TRS-1 for more power since I'm adding bigger axles and tires and felt guilty since it already has a good motor. Now my plan is to take the 302 out of TRS-1 and replace the motor in this B2 with it.

I won't be taking the B2 off-road. My goal is to build something nice that I could take to shows.

I want to replace the doors. There's quite a bit of rust at the bottom.

I would like to convert the front to a Gen II.

I need to fix some rust in the quarters between the wheelwell and doors.

I'm hoping to get Zman to re-upholster the seats.

Needs a new carpet, headliner and a console.

All the interior plastic is in good shape.

I suggest you replace the back hatch also. i have one that is in excellent shape and it dosnt have that annoying flip up window and ill trade you straight across. i will even pay shipping for both.

Looks good! I had a 84 bronco II Eddie Bauer as my first vehicle. I've always like the gen I front end on bronco IIs but for some reason I like the gen II on rangers. cant wait to see it all fixed up, you don't see to many in car shows around here

Boo!

2nd gen fronts are better looking. :icon_thumby:
i like the 1st gen look (when the grill is in good shape)
but that being said i wouldn't do the opposite and take a 2nd gen and retrofit a 1st gen front end on it either

either one looks good for different reasons
