more updates!!, finally got my homemade hoist up to lift the cab off the frame... heres some pics




almost done

10 mins from being done

complete with chain and come-a-long




heres the red truck now i bought for $100, the bed was destroyed and it hardly ran, and the leafs were shot ( this is the cab and bed im using on my build )

CAB IS FINALLY OFF!!!!! now to tear down the frame for clean up and paint

here is the cab getting ready to take off


lifted up a lil.. still need about a foot to go to clear the engine


all ready to roll the frame out



DONE!! (my dad wanted to pose on the tires lol)

BTW

its a 97 4.0 5spd tranny, and electric t-case... they are for sale.. tranny is perfect just needs to cluth lines

tranny - $350
t-case - $300
(will negotiate, PICK UP ONLY)

got motor and tranny out today (posted tranny and t-case in parts 4 sale) next cab goes off to the scrap yard along with the 7.5 rear end if noones wants... selling that for $50

well havent gotton much done but heres some updates got the frame and axles all primered up and letting them dry for the black paint









and i was just messin around with my boggers and a stack

frame and axles are done just waiting for it to dry now

Great motor, I believe the TBI was 85-86 for the mustang. The vin should verify it.

nah no progress on the motor yet.. i need to order a new neutral safety switch for the C4 but as of the motor it runs last i knew.. so im just gonna take the oil pan off clean it out a bit cause theres some dirt in there and fire it up..

cause im using this truck for mud drags so im gonna be goin through a few 302's lol


but updates as of tomorrow my axles go together and start getting bolted to the frame :D


rofl took my '01 wheeling tonight in 2wd and it went everywhere the 4wd trucks went lol

make sure you use the hardener with the paint, other wise it will scratch off easy...
Valspar makes some tough paint. I've used a bunch of it in the past.

wow i didnt even know they had hardener for that lol.. oh well i think theres enough coats of black to harden the primer up.. although i can still dig my fingernail into the paint

well the rear end is on wheels now just need to mount it and mount the front end then its time for motor work :D

running out of time and money lol... once the axles get bolted up its gonna sit for prolly 2 years because im off to school at the end of this month and im not gonna be able to come back and work on it till im done

going to UTI for auto, diesel, hydralics and the ford FACT program

dunno lol i believe their stock with a nut welded at the end for some reason.. all i know is they came off the BII i bought for the axles
