So I've decided I am going to try and sell my B2, I was hoping you guys could help me out on what I should start the price at given the truck.
Here is a list of things I can think of off the top of my head about it:
-Alarm with remote start
-Chrome fender trim
-Chrome door handles
-Window tinting (15% on fronts and rear, 5% on the large sides)
-New exhaust from the cat back(stock styling)
-American Racing Rims with Bf Goodrich All terrain T/A KOs
-power windows/ locks
-Has roughly 145k on the entire truck
-Replaced the engine with a Jasper 2.9L(has about 40k on it give or take)
-Re-manufactured alternator within the last year
-New battery within the last year
-Chrome grille
-Euro style headlights
-Altezza style black taillights
-Sound dampening on the doors and rear hatch

I did rip out the center console in plans to make a new one but never got the time to do it. Can't think of much else off the top of my head.
Thanks for any help on this, its much appreciated!

Well, good condition B2s aren't really worth more than about $1000 these days. And no, I don't care what you think, if you are selling a whole vehicle, mods don't figure into the value of a vehicle.

In most situations, it seems like you're better off keeping it for a weekend drive.. Or trail
Rig or something. I know I couldn't sell mine enough to get my money and time back out of it, not that I'd ever want to! But... Yea start at like $1500 maybe $1800. Good luck with the sale and getting the price you want for it.

Depends a lot on where you're at. I agree with everybody pretty much. Although I would start At 2000 and let them talk me down to 1500. Nobody wants to pay asking price. Make the buyer feel good about talking you down a little bit.

I really want a B2, but when I do look around, I ignore anything over about $1500 or with anything more than dents and dings for body damage.

I know what they are actually worth, but people around here seem to thing the things are made of gold. I keep finding the same one, needs a whole new front end because it was wrecked, the guys keeps listing it for 1500, and says he won't budge on price so don't bother asking if you aren't gonna pay 1500 for it.

I laughed at a guy that wanted 2500 for a 2wd B2. It was immaculate, but I'm not paying that much. I love my B2's, but I can find better deals.

Thats the deal, we know what they are worth, the general public doesn't

Lets put it this way, I had about $5,000 in my '86 BII that I had built into a very capable trail rig. The body and interior was in good shape with no dents or rust (it did need painted thought). I sold it for $2,000.

There is one that is occasionally for sale near my parents' house. It is an 87, body in good shape, but it has a plow on it. That means the front end is probably beat pretty bad.

The guy consistently asks $2900 for it.
