I have an 87 b2 that I just installed a 4 inch lift on it anyway all the front end parts need replaced ball joints tierods ect. Should I even bother with Oem replacements or hold off on the super runner steering tell I upgrade to a d35.
I'm installing energy suspension axle pivot bushings in my 87 b2 and I'm lost as to where the big o-ring type bushing goes? The oem bushing didn't have anything that looks like that.
First question what year explorer should I look for? I would assume that as long as its not the independent rear or the mono leaf it's all the same but just want to make sure before I go to the local yard. Next question how lift can I get from combining some of the bronco pack with the explorer...
I kind of have an idea on the breather thinking about extending it up next to the filler neck not sure if that's the best place for it but it seams to be the highest place to mount it within reason. The rear brake line on the other hand I'm not real sure about I did go through the tech library...
Been tossing around the idea of welding up the front the way I understand it is its harder to turn but at least on the street the hubs wouldn't be locked so that shouldn't be an issue right? I know there's better ways just don't want to spend money on the 28 rather save it to build up a d35.
First off I came across a 7.5 out of a mustang that had a locker in it for free was wondering if the locker would work in my b2? Next question my b2 is in need of some shocks I have a 4 inch rough country lift what shocks do you guys recommend?
I'm sure this has been answered a million times but the exhaust on my 87 b2 is pretty rough would it hurt anything to eliminate the cats? I don't have to worry about an inspection so that isn't a problem.
I have an 87 bronco 2 that would cut out while driving and was hard to start. On star up it would run for a few seconds then die. come to find he pump in the tank failed so I replaced the pump and filter and now it has barely any fuel pressure but you can hear both pumps prime? Any ideas what...
